1. About Coach Diff

Coach Diff is a marketplace that connects League of Legends players with independent coaches, along with AI-assisted coaching tools. It is operated by the partnership A Giannetti & A.E Noon (ABN registered in Australia). By creating an account or using Coach Diff, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old to buy or sell coaching on Coach Diff, or 16 with a parent or guardian’s permission. Because sessions are paid, if you’re under 18 a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.

3. Your account

You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your information accurate, including your Riot ID. Don’t impersonate anyone or misrepresent your rank or identity. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account.

4. Coaches are independent

Coaches on Coach Diff are independent providers, not employees or agents of Coach Diff. Session rates are set by Coach Diff’s rate card according to each coach’s coaching rank. Coaches deliver their own sessions. Coach Diff provides the platform that connects players and coaches and processes payment; it does not employ coaches or control how a session is run. Coaches must keep an accurate, Riot-verified rank on their profile.

5. Fees and payments

Each coach advertises an hourly rate. Coach Diff charges a platform fee that is shared between the player and the coach, and works like this:

• The player pays the coach’s advertised rate plus a platform fee of 5% of that rate.
• The coach receives 85% to 100% of their advertised rate, depending on their coach plan (see Pricing). The coach’s share is fixed when the session is booked.
• Coach Diff retains the 5% platform fee plus the rest of the rate.

For example, on a $100 advertised session the player pays $105. A coach on the 85% plan receives $85 and Coach Diff retains $20; a coach on the 100% plan receives $100 and Coach Diff retains $5. All amounts are in Australian dollars. Payment is taken at the time of booking.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Coaches are paid out through Stripe Connect after the platform fee. By booking or coaching, you authorise Coach Diff and Stripe to process payments as described here.

6. Cancellations and refunds

• Player cancels more than 24 hours before the session: full refund.
• Player cancels within 24 hours of the session: the session is non-refundable, because the coach has reserved that time.
• Coach hasn’t confirmed the session yet: the player can cancel at any time before the start for a full refund.
• Coach cancels or doesn’t show: the player receives a full refund, including the platform fee.
• Moving a session:either side can move a session once, free, to another open time, if it’s 24 hours or more away. Inside 24 hours, only the coach can ask to move it, and the player can accept the new time or decline for a full refund.
• Instant sessions:a request to an online coach is free until the coach accepts. Once accepted, the player has 10 minutes to pay. Paid instant sessions start straight away and can’t be moved.

Cancel or move a session from your sessions page. Refunds go back to the original card, usually within 5 to 10 business days. For anything else, contact admin@coachdiff.com.au. Nothing here limits any right to a refund you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Disputes about a session

If a player and a coach disagree about a session — for example, its quality, whether it happened, or whether a refund is due — either party can raise it with Coach Diff at admin@coachdiff.com.au within 7 days of the session. Coach Diff will review the available information from both sides and decide the outcome, including whether a refund or partial refund applies. Coach Diff’s decision on a dispute is final as between the parties and the platform. We aim to review disputes promptly and fairly, but we’re not a court and can only act within what the platform and payment processor allow.

8. No guarantee of results

Coaching helps you improve, but improvement depends on many things outside anyone’s control, including how much you practise. Coach Diff and its coaches do not guarantee any particular result— no rank increase, no win rate, no specific outcome. Nothing said by a coach or by Coach Diff should be taken as a promise of a result. You book coaching for the coach’s time and guidance, not for a guaranteed outcome.

9. Acceptable use

Don’t use Coach Diff for anything unlawful or abusive, or in any way that breaks Riot Games’ Terms of Service. Our tools are for genuine improvement and must never be used to cheat, script, or gain an unfair in-game advantage. We coach improvement, not automation.

10. AI coaching (“Mr. Alex”)

Where offered, our AI tools give analysis and suggestions based on your own game data. They’re informational aids, not a guarantee of results, and are subject to the same no-guarantee term above. Any live features are limited to information already visible on your own screen and comply with Riot’s policies — they never surface hidden or opponent data.

11. Liability

Coach Diff is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, Coach Diff is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform or from coaching provided by independent coaches, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the session the claim relates to. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Reviews

Players can review coaches after a completed session. Reviews must be honest and not abusive. We may remove reviews that break these terms.

13. Riot Games

Coach Diff isn’t endorsed by Riot Games and doesn’t reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games, and all associated properties, are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or that put players, coaches, or the platform at risk.

15. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If you keep using Coach Diff after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.
